Nechells POD started out as an Education Action Zone in 2008. It then became a Community Interest Company and in 2015, a charity. 

Community spirit

There's nothing quite like the community spirit at Nechells POD bringing together an inclusive community that is tolerant and respectful, offering each other friendship, comfort and support.

Activities and events 

Nechells POD runs a range of sessions covering adult education, children’s activities, health and well-being experiences and intergenerational sessions. As they say "There really is something for everyone at Nechells POD!"

Library offer

The Bloomsbury Library is located in Nechells POD.  As well as offering the opportunity to borrow books, the library is a place for creation and collaboration.

Volunteering

The POD's incredible volunteers help raise funds and are much valued.
